NGS founder Pat Brady has successfully and repeatedly navigated the intricacies of federal, state and local legislative bodies and regulatory agencies on behalf of our clients. He also assists clients in managing the ever changing media landscape developing and executing effective digital and traditional communications and crisis response strategies.
Brady is a former Federal Prosecutor, Big 4 Consulting firm partner, member of the Republican National Committee and Chairman of the Illinois Republican Party
He regularly appears on local, and often times national and international news programs including ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, CNN, MSNBC, PBS, France 24 He has also appeared in major print and on-line publications like the Washington Post, New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Politico, The Hill, Huffington Post and others.
Tracy Slutzkin is an innovative communication leader with an extensive national network of media contacts. She has a depth of knowledge of news operations from a more than 20 year career in broadcasting at Cumulus Media, Westwood One, Fox and ABC News. Tracy has reported and produced investigative news, spot-news, feature stories and news talk programming at some of the most influential media outlets in the U.S. She developed special segments with high-profile newsmakers including four U.S. Presidents. She has covered the RNC and DNC Conventions since 1996. Tracy also served as Program Director at WLS Radio in Chicago for four years.
She has developed and implemented successful media relations and digital strategies for companies such as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Zhongli North America, law firms and professional services organizations. Tracy has earned several coveted industry awards for programming and news coverage, including being named one of the “Most Influential Women in Radio”. She has a B.S. in Communications from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
Hayley Bierkle Burns
Hayley Burns is a communication, public affairs and marketing leader with a record of helping clients achieve aggressive business goals. Hayley has built successful communication strategies for clients in some of the toughest political and business environments including automotive, cyber-security and education.
Hayley’s career began in broadcast journalism where she covered breaking news, business and politics at NBC Chicago, Fox News Chicago and the CNN Midwest Bureau.
Hayley has created and led communication initiatives for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Quicken Loans, Mopar, Kraft, Principal Financial Group, Chicago Public Schools, and Ronald McDonald House Charities, among others. Hayley has a master’s degree in Public Affairs Journalism from Columbia College and a B.S. in Communication from Regis University in Denver.
Linze Rice, Content Strategist
Linze Rice is a writer, journalist and photographer with an expertise in digital strategy and storytelling. As a reporter for hyper-local online news site DNAinfo, Linze provided in-depth coverage of Chicago's neighborhoods, covering Chicago Public Schools, business and economy, and highlighting the amazing stories of the residents who live there. Through her work, Linze developed a robust network of media contacts, as well as had the opportunity to establish meaningful connections with a wide range of businesses, organizations, nonprofits and leaders. As a journalist, she has appeared on Fox 32, WBEZ, WCIU and WGN Radio, and she has covered local, state and national elections. Linze is also the photographer and documentarian for The Girl Talk, a Chicago-based, monthly live talk show whose panel features Chicago and Illinois' most influential women.
By developing trust and rapport with others, Linze has been able to suss out and help tell, and share, thousands of news stories. With a media and writing focused-career combined with an educational background in sociology and women's studies, Linze brings a unique perspective and understanding of what it takes to crystallize a complex story into something impactful and engaging.
